VALENTINA MERLI est italienne. Après des études en Droit à l’Université de Bologne, elle collabore au sein de sociétés de production, de ventes internationales et de distribution entre la France et l’Italie depuis 1998. Elle démarre à Strasbourg chez Eurimages, puis successivement: Directrice de Ventes Internationales chez Gemini Films (Paulo Branco), Responsable des Coproductions chez Downtown Pictures (Marco Müller) et Directrice de Vente Internationales puis Responsable Juridique et Business Affairs chez Pyramide (Eric Lagesse). Parallèlement à son activité de productrice en 2020 elle a dirigé Locarno Pro (point de repère de l’industrie professionnelle au sein du Festival International du Film de Locarno).
After a Master degree in Law at Bologna University, Valentina worked in several arthouse production and sales companies in France and Italy since 1998. She started in Strasbourg at Eurimages before moving to Rome to collaborate with Leo Pescarolo as a Production Assistant.
She moved to Head of Sales at Gemini Films (Paulo Branco) in Paris, then as Co-production manager at Downtown Pictures in Italy (Marco Müller), followed by Head of sales at Pyramide (Eric Lagesse), investments manager at Cinecapital Sofica and finally Legal Director at Pyramide again from 2013. She spent 2020 as the Head of Locarno Pro.
VIOLETA KREIMER est argentine, diplômée de Sciences Po Paris. Après collaborer avec la Fondation Cartier Bresson, le Musée du Louvre ou Paris-Photo, elle rejoint l’artiste Xavier Veilhan en 2007, et prend la direction de son Atelier à partir de 2013. Elle participe ainsi à tous les aspects de la production et le financement de ses expositions, installations, films et spectacles pendant plus de 10 ans jusqu’au Pavillon Français à la Biennale de Venise en 2017. Elle co-écrit avec lui et le scénographe Alexis Bertrand, les films « Vent Moderne » ainsi que les spectacles « Systema OCCAM, pour une pièce d’Eliane Radigue » et « Compulsory Figures ». Au sein de MISIA FILMS elle développe notamment des réalisateurs venus de l’univers des arts visuels.
Violeta moved from Argentina to France in 2003 to study Political Science in Paris. Before co-founding MISIA FILMS in 2018, she worked in the Photo and Contemporary Art field. After collaborating with the Cartier-Bresson Foundation, Paris Photo and Casino Luxembourg («L’Oeil Ecran », Art-Video exhibition), in 2007 she joined French artist Xavier Veilhan. She led Veilhan’s studio until 2018, following all the aspects of production and funding of his work and films including the French Pavilion at the 2017 Venice Art Biennale. Together with him and scenographer Alexis Bertrand, she co-write the short-film “Vent Moderne” (2015) and the performances “SYSTEMA OCCAM” (2013) and “Compulsory Figures” (2019).
